 I'm David Bain, Senior Lecturer in the philosophy department at the University of Glasgow. I taught previously at Oxford, Bristol, and Nottingham universities, after taking my BA and DPhil at Oxford, either side of an MA at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Interested in all aspects of philosophy, my research is mainly in philosophy of mind, in which area I'm very happy to consider proposals from students considering a PhD (the philosophy department has an AHRC studentship for PhD study available from 2013). |
